Social Forestry and Agrarian Reform

Social Forestry and Agrarian Reform

The Program for Agrarian Reform and Social Forestry is a breakthrough program of the Government that is increasing in demand by the people in the districts. The right to manage the land around them which is adapted to local wisdom from their ancestors is expected to be able to answer economic and ecological challenges.

The redistribution of land management rights to the community, which is previously managed by the company, is also one of the choices in overcoming the problem of land management. The two national programs are seen by the district government as a serious commitment from the central government. National programs that hope to help economic equality and reduce economic inequality will at least touch the three pillars that help the efforts to achieve the vision of a Sustainable District. Among them are land managements, business opportunities, and increased human resources
